Nc35 rear sets

Post by chuchu20 » Tue Oct 02, 2012 1:05 am

Hey does anyone know/have aftermarket rear sets for a nc35. Don't like the tyga ones as foot pegs don't move so any others like that are out too.

Does anyone know if other bikes rear sets are capable with the rvf?

I don't know of many aftermarket rearsets that have folding pegs, why do you want them? All my fave aftermarket rearsets have solid pegs so not worth mentioning....

I think you'll find most aftermarket brands have solid pegs as they're made for the track where raised rearsets are needed.

You could fit jack up plates if you just want to alter the standard rearset position (and keep the folding pegs), Rick Oliver sells them.

NC30, NC35 and RC45 sets are compatible, I don't know of any other bikes.

The nc35 is my partners bike and at 5ft she already struggles a little stoping and that. Having pegs that can fold allows her to have a lot more movement around that area then a sold one. Open to opinions though.

Cammo what rear sets do you have?

I have a billet set that was made by a small manufacturer in South Africa, I can't remember more now. Solid heel pegs but folding toe pegs.

My favourites are WR's (Japan) - good quality, great gear change feel and position, very light: http://www.ebay.com/itm/WRS-Rear-Sets-H ... 00&vxp=mtr

Are you after replacing the OEM folding pegs with new folding pegs, or does the bike currently have fixed ones that you want to replace? I recently discovered a pile of junk RVF parts that came with some other bits I bought that I'd forgotten all about. I can't help thinking that there might have been a few bits associated with the rider's pegs lurking with the stuff, but I have a feeling they were probably incomplete and/or damaged. Won't be back 'home' at my parents place for a couple of weeks, but on the remote chance that I find what you're after (and assuming you're in the UK), you'd be welcome to them for the cost of postage and a couple of pints of beer.
