Front master cylinder

Post by Noodles » Thu Sep 27, 2012 9:50 pm

Do all NC29's have 1/2 inch front master cylinders?
Mine doesn't look like the original, it has 14 marked on it instead of 1/2.
The brakes seem to be very wooden, just wondering if this is the problem.

14mm is the standard NC29 master cylinder. If the brakes feel wooden you most likely have seized piston/slider/pad issues.

I run standard master cylinder/pads/discs on my NC29 race bike and you can stand it on the front wheel with just two fingers :!:

1/2" is VFR/RVF standard fit.

Oops edit last post - just checked on my bike 1/2" diameter IS standard on CBR400NC29 - 14mm is VFR/RVF NC30/35 standard fit.

Apologies for the duff information
