VFR400 frame - fairing connector

Alrite lads,

I've just bought myself a VFR400 NC30 as my first bike, it's in pretty tatty condition (it's been down the road on its side at low speed) but I picked it up cheap enough and I'm looking to do some tiding up to it!

I've already flushed the cooling system then it'll be getting a full service.

When i was taking the right side fairing off i found the fairing to flapping around a bit and the bolt nearest the forks was connected to this, which in turn wasn't connected to anything!



Now im guessing this connecting thing is menna bolt onto this boss on the frame?

Anybody know where i can get hold of a new connector?

yep it looks like the bracket either on the left that was at one time connected to the side stand which has snapped off, and there should be one that bolts to the frame on the right too.
stick an advert up in the wanted section.

its the one on the RHS the one down by the side stand is still intact!

sorry i wasn't very clear, the one down towards the side stand is intact,
but the one in the picture, the one from the RHS near the forks is broken!
