I have bought a Voltmeter to fix to my dash so I can see whats going on with my charging system whilst Im driving around. Im convinced when the lights on are the battery is not charging.
Can anyone suggest the best way to wire it up, where is the best place to tab onto? Or any vids on youtube etc.
Its got 2 terminals ( + & - ) and a red wire.

Re: Where to wire in voltmeter on dash
Negative to earth and positive to the red/black wire on the ignition switch loom should do the job. The reg/rec is actually connected to the permanent live feed to the ignition but don't connect it to that one (the red wire) or the voltmeter will be permanently on

Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.
