ive recently bought an aero and put it in for an mot and it failed on the side light there is no side light holder in the headlight so is there an easy modification i can do to get it through any help would be gratefully received

So then I gather it's an import. It was never fitted with a sidelight, therefore it should not be an MOT failure. Your tester is in the wrong. You only need a sidelight if the bike came out of the factory with one. Yours will have had running lights (twin element indicator bulbs). Take it to a proper bike MOT tester who knows his stuff, this guy obviously doesn't
