hi
does anyone know if the rvf airbox on the tyga website will fit the vfr? on my last vfr i had a fiberglass race airbox which i think came from the nc30 club that looked exactly the same as the one they list for the rvf, i think i had to skim the sealing rim/lip off the airbox tray to make it fit?
can anyone shed any light on that?
the nc30 airbox says itll fit the 35 but the 35 race air box on their site says its just for the 30?

cheers

I've got 1 of these but haven't tried to fit it yet, I'll have a look tomorrow.

Yes, you're right, it needs the lip taking off to make it fit flush & an air filter doesn't fit inside with it either! So not sure this will be any use to me now!!!

Re: vfr400/rvf airbox
Thought it did, thanks for checking I will get one added to my next order.
If this is like my old one that I had ages ago (it deffo looks the same) you CAN get it to fit, all you need to do is cut the front of the plastic part of the air filter it's the square bit of it at the top front, cut it to the angle of the inner slanted part of the air box that fouls the profile of the filter until it fits snugly in the airbox, I then duct taped the hole up and jobs a good un!
I had a piece of pipercross foam in my old filter
Thanks again for looking
