Derestricting an NC29
Does anyone know how to derestrict an NC29. Understand the restrictor is in the speedo but not sure and want to remove it. Cheers

You can either do this:
http://www.400greybike.com/files/NC29%20Res%20Mod.jpg
or another easy way is to buy one of these that screw into the back of the clocks:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOTORCYCLE-MO ... 3f1902da8b
Both will derestrict it

If your NC23 has a blue lable CDI then yes it is, simple fix is the blue KMH convertor or get a gold label CDI

not all NC23s are restricted.. the old Aeros are NOT.
the 1989 NC23 can also use the resistor mod.. if you google "CBR400 resistor mod" you will find my DIY how to images.. just like the one already posted which is the nC29 version i did years ago. .
