Can anyone help me please, Ive got the airbox and carbs off my RVF. I took the rubber flap off ages ago and again wish Id taken a photo of it. Now I cant remember how the things goes back on, and i think the lack of this part is causing my running problems!

-the 2 holes at each side of the flap, do they hook round the lugs on the outside of the frame for the top rad?

-the two big circular holes, do they go round the spark plug holes/leads on the front 2 cylinders? Or do they go round the inlet tracts of the front 2 cylinders? Im not sure if the flap folds down under the headstock or backwards towards the carbs.

- the single hole at the top, does this get held in place by the black plastic clip right behind the headstock inside?

thanks
Dan

Hi Dan, the 2 big holes go over the front 2 inlets between the carbs and the head, the 2 small holes then hook over the rad mounts as you said and then its fixed under the headstock using one of those little black plastic clips that expand. This is all from memory tho but I think that's right

Hope that helps

Tony
