Another contributor to this site, Neosophist, has provided this info to another member with a NC21.

Right Fork: 340cc
Left Fork: 345cc

Weight: 10-W

The dial at the bottom of the left fork leg is for the anti-dive setting. This is the reason for slightly more oil in the left fork. Bigger number equals less dive under brakes. What setting you use really depends on how you want the bike to performs under braking.

Regarding Castrol 10W vs synthetic, synthetic is generally considered a superior product but in this case you need to be aware that 10w synthetic Castrol is about 3x thicker than non-synthetic 10W Castrol. Having said that, your damper rod forks would probably be better suited to the thicker synthetic Castrol, rather than the thinner non-synthetic oil.

Hope this helps.

Yep for NC21.

Not seen an adjuster before? Picture? Are they NC21 forks?

Hi. I am refurbishing my shocks this week. Will send you a picture.
My concern is maybe restretching the springs to get the set stiffness back again. is this advisable?
any other ideas?
