nc35 carb sync, vacuum take off points

Hello all,
I bought my rvf400 about 6 weeks ago and have spent many hours in the garage since. New disks, new sprockets, chain, sevice, fairing repairs, spraying........ its everlasting but i did say iwanted a project!
Im now in the process of tuning as it seems to be running rich which was puzzling me as its standard apart from a scorpion end can. However i got the carbs off today for a clean and was surprised/relived to see 115 written on the underside, on each bowl. So im thinkin the jets have been changed.
Anyway to cut to the chase, i want to sync the carbs when ive cleaned them but cant identify the vacuum take off points. Ive possibly noticed them on cylinders 1,2 and 3 just under the rubber carb joints. But on number 4 there doesnt seem to be anything
any help would de gratefully received
