carbs

Post by j77drs » Sun Jun 17, 2012 11:02 pm

hi

i have just cleaned my carbs and bike running fime, the only thing is that when i pull the choke lever its ok but when pushing it back the cable seems to go loose, i must be doing something wrong,

can anyone help ?

also i think i may need to have the bike tuned slighly as when ticking over the engine note changes very slightly, is this normal ?

Bro just take the tank off and have another look, you may need some grease on the choke slides on the carb body (they slide left n right) or maybe just an oiled cable. Make sure the screw clip that holds the cable is on the metal tip of the cable not on the rubber lining.
