It's not too hard to do.
Soak all the engine mounting bolts in plus-gas / wd-40 / releasing fluid at least a couple of days before you start (give them a good soaking every so often) - no need to go over-kill on it though.
Drain coolant.
Remove all connectors on block, disconnect plug leads
Remove rad (much easier)
Remove oil coolerpipes (tie them up no need to remove oil cooler itself)
Support engine with trolly jack and wood.
Remove rear silencer
remove engine bolts and lower down.. sometimes easier to lift the frame up over the engine and et voila.
Lower slowly to prevent any forgotton cables / pipes tearing off... if your stuck with anything let me know but you can remove one in about an hour if you've done it before, not a difficult job, just a bulky thing :-)
