Hi,
There's a squeaking sound coming from my rear whenever i go over humps. when i purposely "bounce" up and down on my seat. the sound is quite apparent too.
However, the squeaking is inconsistent, sometimes i get it, sometimes i dont
is my suspension spoilt? or is it just a bearing that needs to be changed?

There is a bushed bearing in the rear suspension linkage that needs lubricating. Had same problem, mine was so dry that had to press the bush out. Once greased problem went away.

Is the bushing very difficult to reach? Need to dismantle a lot of parts etc?

Been awhile since I did it so memory a bit fuzzy, pretty sure reaching all the linkage nuts & bolts was the only difficulty. Do not remember removing anything else. Others here may be able to confirm.

The plain top shock bush is prone to dry/squeaks, all the lower ones are needle roller bearings [nc30 lower shock is rubber, metallastic ]
An Abba stand or similar is needed to allow shock removal.
Remove linkage bolts and linkage, then drop shock down through the swinging arm and out behind the exhaust,
Not difficult just fiddly to get at.
Grease the needle bearings whilst accessible.
Whilst on the stand, if time permits, remove the hub to clean the dirt/grit from the swinging arm and clean/grease bearings etc.
Worth sealing the 2 holes in the swinging arm by the shock to prevent grit entering again.
When shock is still in situ, then cut to fit a piece of polystyrene in the hub end of the swinging arm.
