Does anyone know where you can get a new 5 blade connector to fit the regulator rectifier as mine is a bit melted & grubby!
Cheers, Phil

Make sure you solder the wires to the connections... use flux and make sure they are clean so you get a good seal.
Also clean up the male connectors inside the reg/rec.
The reason they melt and go grubby is becuase they carry high current, when the plug becomes dirty and oxidised overtime the resistance goes up inside the plug so there is more heat generated as the current overcomes the reistnance, which leads to crappy plug and melted wires if it gets too bad

Cheers for the replies.
Never thought - good ole ebay!
Neo; dry grubby connectors are a pet hate of mine - they are the cause of so many problems
I have done away with the block where the alt connects to the loom & soldered/heatshrunk the wires, the bike has a larger h/d reg rec so presumably the dodgy connector was from the previous units' failure - prior to my ownership.
Anyway, I'll get one ordered.
Cheers, Phil

I use Kojaycat too, always very good service from them. I have also been very happy with Autostar:
