don't use that for sliders.

Use it on pistons and rubber seals to help locate them.

It's good stuff and I always use it on pistons etc but it's vegetable oil based, will melt too easily.

Some high temp silicone grease is rubber safe. The stuff Honda use is oranage I believe.

Make sure to flush all the old grease out first, if the rubber seals are swollen from previous grease or cleaning sprays then replace them

Correct! Red rubber grease is however perfect for carb diaphragms
