NC35 How do you remove carb needles and Fuel Screen Filter

Post by 999Gomerz » Thu Nov 24, 2011 12:21 pm

Hello Everyone,

I am hoping someone knows the answers to two questions below:

- How do you remove the carb needles on the NC35 Carbs, the NC30's are easy, not sure on theses ones?
- How do you remove the screen filter underneath (or on top depending which way the carbs are) of the float valve? The NC30 you remove the housing with a 10mm hex, not sure on these ones?

Looking forward to some tips.

Cheers,

Adrian

Cheers,

I dont understand, how do you get the screen filter out with a dental scraper?

I figured out the needles, the slide cover bolts screw in and you gently pull them out, they are held in with an o-ring.

youll need to get the sharp pointy bit into the SOLID plasticy bit, and not the filter,

only way youll get it out without damaging it, other option could be compressed air but you might damage the filter.

Do you mean hook onto the plastic bit end and pull it out of where the fuel enters the carb, or push from where the float valve sits in the orrifice?

Or something different?

It appears as if the filter is too large to come out where the fuel enters and the somethings has to be removed like in the 30?????
