I am on my 33bhp license, and I really want restriction. So I have got a relative to laser cut some, from a image I have seen on the internet.
So today I took the carbs off, etc.
Where on earth do I put them?
That is the only question.
I tried to put it in between the engine block and the carbs, inside the rubber. No fit.
There is no where else to fit them.
This is quite annoying.
The only way I see a fit would be to either modify or buy extended rubbers between carb and engine block.
Also while I'm here,
Why is it that after a cold night or 2-3 days, my clutch gets stuck in gear, while I pull clutch in and I just stall. I have to keep restarting the bike to get it un stuck.
Any fix for a shaky speedo needle?
How many RPM do you pull at 60mph / 70mph?
Why do I hear and feel a strange rolling noise while the clutch is engaged in neutral (not pulled in) then disappears when I pull the clutch lever in?
Thank you for your time!
Pictures may proceed!
Restriction problems. Please help those of you who have had.

restrictor washers go in the rubbers that connect the carbs to the heads, if they dont fit then there to big/thick you really need exact measurements otherwise the bike wont be restricted properly anyway

how thick should they be?
i got them laser cut using cad, the only thing i didnt know was how thick they should be. they are about 2-3mm thick. definatly the right size because they go into the carb rubbers, its just that when i put the carbs on, the carb just popped out.

Hi, the restrictors fit into the carb rubber, there is a slot for them on the rubbers marked 94 but Im unsure of earlier models. I suppose you could make them a tad smaller to fit tight into the side walls further up the rubber if this is not the case.
Your clutch noise is common and seems to affect some bikes without problem. Just last year I had this noise but it dissapeared after a couple of weeks, I think its something to do with the clutch basket if I remember rightly.

from what i remember the washers are very thin but how thin im unsure , i think its best to put the washers in the lower side of the rubbers , that way you can mount the rubbers to the heads with the washers inside and check there seated properly tighten the lower clamps then you should have full depth carbside for the carbs to seat properly

> i have this.. still after 9 years. i have heavy duty clutch springs in mine which push the engine oil out from between the plates. the ONLY remedy is to give the clutch time to separate.. i pull mine in for several seconds BEFORE i try to put it in gear from engine cold.

>nope.. replace internal speedo is all you can do.. been there done that 3 times and they still go! so i no longer bother!
How many RPM do you pull at 60mph / 70mph?
>depends what i am doing at the time.. rolling on or riding hard..+ i also no longer pay much attention of RPMs unless they sound like they are getting close to red line... i ride with the feel of the bike

Have you changed the gearbox oil lately, sounds like the oil is too thick, once the engine is warm, the oil becomes thinner and your clutch issues dissapear.
