New Valve Springs For NC29 or NC23 - Where To Buy

Post by Pleiades » Sat Nov 05, 2011 3:49 am

Sorry if it's been covered before, but the search results for "NC29 valve" are pretty wide...

I'm about to rebuild my NC29, most likely with an NC23 head, after dropping a valve at Phillip Island, and want to go with new valve springs, and associated bits. I see that cmsnl.com have a good selection, but interested if anyone knows another place to get them at a good price. Do NC29/NC23 head parts carry over to another model, as is the case with the ZXR 400's? And indeed, do any other engine parts carry over to any current or recent models (I'm thinking bearings, etc)?

Any tips on getting me back on track as cheaply and easily but reliably as possible would be appreciated.

Cheers,

David

Have you tried David Silver Spares (UK)? I've used them reliably in the past.

RB Racing (Sydney) might know of a cheaper source in Oz.

Cheers, Cam, not sure why I didn't think to ask RB about that sort of thing, as I've rung them a couple of time in the last few weeks!
