Refitted carbs and I thought I'd better check the throttle action before fitting the airbox etc as I had to undo the bolts/adjuster etc to get the cable off and back on
Now when I have the bars at full right lock the throttoe doesn't ping back, it sticks open, not good.
Can't seem to quite follow the Haynes method, any tips please?
how to adjust throttle cable, at carb end?

is the cable routed the right way?
from the twist grip under the clocks, between the left fork and headstock, above the radiator and through a little cut out in the plastic?

I think so, they are definetly above the radiator
I will remove the top rad, see how it goes then
Don't suppose the lower cable has any effect? If that's too tight perhaps?
Mind you I've just refitted the carbs I really don't want to take them off again!

It's not necessarily the routing. You can adjust the tightness of the throttle with the adjuster on the cable, just underneath the throttle-grip itself.

Sorted
A mix of adjustment at the carb end and at the throttle end seems to have sorted it, although its not tha sharpest return I've ever seen, good enough for now, I'll lube the cable later on

My 35 is the same, you have to haver the cables just right or it is like pulling a dog to the vets!!!!, and you move the adjuters just a bit and bingo free and easy

An NC is for life, not just for Christmas!
