On the carb jetting guide Cammo recommends petrol resistant gasket goo as opposed to new gaskets, I've googled it and looked in my local autofactors, none seem to be suitable for being "totally immersed in gasoline"

Any recommendations please?

:plus: Hylomar blue

however be careful applying it as if you put too much it 'squishes' out and can go into the bowl and could potentially block a jet..............

dont ask me how i know that.

That was before I discovered Rick O's replacement o-rings for float chamber gaskets (the genuine gasket kits are expensive!). It's covered in the thread but not in the pdf version of the guide.

The o-rings are a much better option than gasket goo. :peace:

you cant even get the chamber gaskets individually for the NC35 :(
you have to buy the whole gasket kit if you want them

thats the same for the nc23, however i was told (by cammo i think) the Rick O replacement o rings for the nc30 would fit - and he was right ! cracking tip... and saved me forking out for 4 gasket kits, which gets v expensive. not sure if they would fit the nc35

I am told 3 Bond is best for petrol sealing, but also soaking O rings in boiling water for a few minutes swells them to original size, but have not tried it yet.
