nc23 running problems

Hi all,
Just joined this site and after some advice, ive got a 1988 nc23rrj that ive just done up but im having some running issues ive done a full service new iridium plugs standard air filter new inline fuel filter new oil and filter and new contacts in fuel pump but the problem is when i try to take it flat out and get up in the revs it miss fires and holds back but if i let off the gas a bit it runs ok ish ive fitted a rather small gp race can aswell any help or advice would be very much appreciated,

I am no expert but i had this problem, changed the main jets and its sorted now, no more misfiring at WOT and pulls really hard all the way through to the red line. My guess would be the jets.

Thanks for the tip, my bike is the nc23 rrj 1988 which runs 115 main jets but ive got a very stubby moto gp exhaust on it with standard air filter would you recomend larger jets ?

to be fair it might be something else, I am just saying mine had that issue etc, your best bet would be to get on a dyno.

2 things to do here first:

Fit a tuned length matched 400 end can with decent packing.
Fit a set of larger Dynojets / checking float heights at the same time ....
