right so my shock on my nc30 is shagged so i may as well do an upgrade jobbie. i have researched all the options so far iv seen cbr rr, 2co r6, rs250 and the obvious aftermarket units. im sort of leaning towards the rs250 shock but i cant seem to find whats actually involved with fitting it once you have it rebuilt, ill look at a faulkner spring and get it refurbed but do you have to make any adaptions for it to fit or is it simply a bolt on jobbie?
any help grately appreciated
cheers lip

It requires a little modification to the triangle/ knuckle. It needs filing/sanding down a couple of mm. Other than that it's a straight fit.

the top mount reqs a little shaved off also . if your getting one rebuilt and resprung to suit an nc30 remember to get reservoir turned 180 at the banjo bolt before regassing that way it will mount in the same position behind pillion peg.

i have a earlier non ride height adjustable one on my uk bike and it jacks up the rear nicely as its still longer than an nc30 shock . its a good replacement for a worn out shock but would be wary of the cost involved again ie s/hand rs shock £50+ spring £40+ rebuild cost £100 + and you can see where i am going so would bare this in mind before starting .

would say that once done its a massive improvement much better than the hagon i have on another bike which feels crude by comparison .
