Never heard that they did - as it is not a cartridge fork... it is a damper rod fork.
You can get cartridge emulators for them if that is what you mean? For them..Greggo (i think) ran some on his NC23 (which is also a damper rod fork)

No, I meant pull out the entire internals of the damping rod and install a 20mm cartridge assembly from a modern bike to give preload, rebound and comp adjustment as well as an adjustable shim stack.CMSMJ1 wrote:Never heard that they did - as it is not a cartridge fork... it is a damper rod fork.

I have heard it being done by guys who have FZ6's with damping rod forks.

I don't understand why you are asking about K model forks only? Why not remove the cartridge out of the later forks and do it?

fair enough... I suspect getting a late set of forks and regspringing, revalving would be cheaper than getting a cartridge kit for your early ones?
