Straight Pipe

Post by muay_thai_dan » Wed Apr 27, 2011 5:40 am

Hey guys, im wondering about the pro's and con's of running a straight pipe on an nc30.

id like to make a custom high mount twin stack heat-wrapped straight pipe exhaust for my 30 ... mainly for looks and noise.

would i have to mod the jetting / air filter? is it bad to run a straight pipe?

let me know guys, thanks!

Of course you would have to get it dyno'd afterwards to make sure it was running right. It would be horrifically noisy and as much as the V4 makes the most wonderful noise, it would be too much!

If you have the skills to make it, can afford to set it up and have a large supply of earplugs...go for it.

Personally, a full system and a race can makes all the noise you need.
