De-Restrictor CDI Connectivity

hey peeps...just wondering if its possible to somehow connect a posh or mmax box on the CDI of the 35? i have one lying around so thought i'd ask...

i know its connects on the front end but i'm not using the stock clocks anymore

you just need to tweak a couple of wires...no boxes required at all.

Have a search for it...

yeh i'm aware that i can just run a wire from the blue/orange wire (i think) to the 12v but i was hoping to be able to plug something in...keep it a bit neater ya know

you can plug a resistor into the original plug and tape it in place?

just double the ends over.

No, not really.

None of the aftermarket nc35 derestrictors will plug in at the cdi end. They would need to use the complex (more expensive) cdi plug otherwise.

You could hack it in there, but really it would be far simpler just derestricting it in a standard way.

cheers for the dig up mate :)

i've done quite a bit of wire hacking on the bike as it is and i'm in a bit of a lazy mood so i may wait out for one of those HRC cdi's...u can probly tell that i only have plug n play on the mind

yeh I've come across that ad but $250 AU + postage (I assume I'd have to pay postage since I'm not in the UK) seems a bit steep to me
