Replace cluch?

Post by 7pires » Wed Apr 20, 2011 2:32 pm

Hello, I have close to one year NC30 1992 has 51,000 miles, a day ago to ramp up with her by the hand, gave more power than was normal, was losing strength, until no longer walk, run! Put gear 1 or 2, and she does not walk.
I thought clutch is damaged, off? It was the despair ....

It was kind of not like not having power, I put gears up and down, fine, ear normal noises.

Yesterday I took off oil and clutch cover and started the bike for seconds and was riding!! The gears works!!!!
The clutch is ok, but getting works near the end of the course, cable, not at normaly like in begining.
Did anything go out of place? Something broken? end of the clutch? Bad oil?
Anyone had this problem?
Welp!

Mau oleo?
Alguem já teve este problema?
Welp!!!

maybe an over adjusted cable buddy, i tightened mine to far and as a result my clutch was slipping higher up in the revs.

when it wapens, put all gears and she was not moving

turn on engine> clutch> 1st gear> little accelerator> start moving> clutch> deceleration> disengage

then became:
turn on engine> clutch> 1st gear> a little accelerator> nothing> 2nd gear> nothing> <Clutch 1to6gear>> anything anything! Clutch> 1> 6 change anything!

ligar motor> embreagem > 1 mudança > um pouco acelarador > nada> meter 2 mudança > nada < embreagem> nada> nada! embreagem> 1<to>6 mudança nada!

engine in gear but not moving when clutch released? (revs go up but no move?)

Slipping clutch!? Burned out the clutch plates (New plates + Springs)

OR!

Did you put new oil?

Some oil can cause clutch slip

Boa sorte!
