Help needed removing ignition barrel

Help needed removing ignition barrel

Can anyone tell me if it is a simple job removing an ignition barrel from. An nc29? Do I need any
special tools ect?

You will need to correct size star drive socket thing and the top yoke off.

One of these...no idea on size though.

Nice one, I would have never have known that the top yoke needed to come off and would probably have ended up standing there scratching my head and pulling at things which is never good.... As you might have guessed I am the technically useless and should never be allowed at anything with a spanner or screwdriver without close supervision...

thanks for your help guys, much appreciated, luckily I didn't need to take the top yoke off in the end, which is really handy as it probably would have all ended in tears..

Hi I have just changed mine, it was a t30 bit that I used but I didn't take the top off.
