IGNITECH, HRC loom & Koso clocks, needs de-restricted?

I had my bike de-restricted by these method....

i used a KOSO RX2, standard CDI and loom for my NC29.

Now, I just ordered from Graeme some new Ignitech CDI and HRC loom, and ill be using my old Koso RX2 clocks. Do I have to de-restricted it again?

really??? wow, thats good to hear.

anyone who had Ignitech and HRC looms on their NC29's here?

what's the difference between HRC looms and standard looms by the way? my bike needs a new loom pretty badly thats why i immediately pick the HRC looms. NC29 looms are hard to find in the net.

HRC looms is race loom. It doesn't have turns, headlights, sidestand, horn, brake lights and maybe starter. I don't think it's useful for road bike.

It should be something like this.

Now things these things gets me worried.... :(

How about using Ignitech CDI and Standard loom and my Koso Clock, would it work? Do i need to de-restrict it?

race loom doesn't have charging system? but i believe that race bikes used also electronics such as the meter and other instrumentations which you need to charge your battery, right? please correct me if im wrong.

the diagram was always available, i created the diagram/hosted/posted all the links up ages (years in fact) ago.. only a few bright sparks actually SAVED the link....
in fact if you google "NC29/23/30/35 resistor mod" in the images section.. ALL of my diagrams are top of the search list!..& you will see ALL of them are linked to this site.
amazing what you can find when you look aint it...

The HRC. Loom has no charging or starter circuit as well as all of the things that Parus mentioned, it's useless for a road bike.

The HRC loom is designed for a total loss system ie not running a stator or flywheel reducing weight and rotating mass at the crank, without these it's impossible to charge the battery, race bikes only need to run for 20-40 minutes at a time and a fully charged battery will do this, then between races you either change or charge the battery.

I think Ignitech will work with original wiring loom. Only problem I see circuit that stop engine when you switch gear when sidestand out. It can be done with automotive relay.

What is the purpose using Ignitech ? It's only able to change spark advance. I don't think it'll give you more performance.

If you use higher octane fuel you could use more advance. Though ideally you want a knock sensor.
