Clip Ons

Post by Pilky » Sun Mar 06, 2011 10:07 am

At the risk of people laughing and face palming me, im asking why do people fit Clip-Ons, what advantages do they have and is it worth getting some? Are they a pretty universal fit or do you need specific ones to match bike model?

well your bike either has clip-on's or it has complete handle bars.
a moto-x bike has complete handle bars & a sports bike usually uses clip-on's.
clip-on's are the parts which the handle bars fit into but some bikes have solid clip-on's & handle bars combined. people who convert bikes to say, street-fighters, sometimes mod the top yoke and fit flat bars or moto-x bike type handle bars.
you cant "just fit" clip-on's to any bike, you could make them fit but they wont always work.

i hope this kind of makes sense.
