Hi Porndoguk
i've had the nc24 for 3 weeks now,no mods that i know too and not sure if it had stood before - the last owner said heused it daily... never seemed to be as quick as m old nc23, but the last 2 weeks seems to be getting slower n slower and missing more, not sure if a good service would sort it out ?but it won't go past 140 kph ,even if the lower gears, not sure if she's still restricted??

I think the question was raised because you didn't say what model of bike it was. ;)

This could be any number of problems but is probably something fairly simple. It certainly isn't right. Start witht the basics (plugs getting spark, carbs getting fuel, fuel tap, electrical system checks) and go from there.

No offence intended, but if you have trouble doing these basic checks then you might be better off just taking it to a mechanic or getting a mate round to look at it instead. :peace:
