Im just doing this myself mate, no benifits for me for taking out a 70+ 35 motor for a standard 30 lump except its going to get me to spain and back. Im told its straight forward so im hoping it'll seem obvious when i get it in the frame.
Personally i like the tall 1st gear on the 30.

You'll need the 30 loom, cdi and tacho unless you change the pickups for rvf so you can use the rvf electrics.

What would be easier?
Vfr motor, vfr loom, vfr clocks and csi or
Vfr motor and rvf pick ups and whatever else is needed?
I thought it would be easier to treat it as a vfr ( or keep all the electrics vfr ) but in a different frame

In my case its easier to change the pick ups as i have a ignitech cdi, koso dash, cbr coils. This way swapping between the 2 engines is a doddle

For those that have the 30 motor in a 35 are any of the spacers different?
