i just put on a yoshimura firespec endcan for my NC35.
basically i just unbolted my stock and and put on the new street legal yoshimura can. did i miss out on any step (my dad asked me why i didnt put any gasket inbetween the headers and the endcan)
and another thing, bike seems to be running perfectly fine after the swap. do i need to head down to my mech to tune the bike? will it cause any problems in the long run if i dont re-tune my bike?

They should be a gasket for the end can. You shouldnt really need to upjet but its worth checking whats in there. what bike is it?

this is the exhaust. the gasket is a standard sizing for all nc35s? cos when i took out my stock endcan, there wasnt any... a few of my friends dont have it too.

the stock honda gasket didnt fit my yoshi pipe exactly,
i stripped some of the metal around it and made it slightly smaller till it fit.. then i put it flush in my endcan and applied some heat resistant silicone around the gasket and bolted it on.
do you guys think it'll work fine?

ps. is this the one you guys are using?

it will be fine as long as the sealant does it's work proper and fit the connections air tight. If not, then it may cause some issue with noise/power loss etc.
From my memory...Yoshimura never produced any cans for NC35.

I really want a Yoshi on my NC35, I had one on my MC22 and it was the bees knees.
I have no idea how to choose one though seeing they don't make one for the NC35, what would you recommend for a street bike?

It was discontinued two years ago. You either have very old stock or second hand or it ain't a Yoshi

the old carbon/titanium/firespec models were discontinued. But there are many authorised dealers here still selling Yoshi "blue"
