What needles?

Post by BillingCBR » Sat Jan 08, 2011 1:30 am

Hi guys, took a pic of one of the needles removed from my spare set of carbs, the tip has a much shallower point on it and appears to be a bit thicker, it also has 6 grooves at the top, which I don't believe is anything like standard :|

Any one got any idea what they are? RO, HRC? (yeah right! )

The grooves are for the clips that you adjust the height of the needle with - instead of washers.

Having a blunt end is strange though...

It's pointed, it's just really shallow, it feels alot like a dot punch tbh.

Just want to know if it's worth keeping these or getting some RO road needles to replace them
