Question does anyone know of a good product to use to really get my frame and swinger and some other odds and ends good and clean and looking brand new? I have tried a ton of different things to no avail. Brake cleaner, engine degreeser you name it i've tried it. Its too cold out side so i'd really like something thats safe to use inside so gas and such isnt what im looking to use. Any ideas would be great. Been using a tooth brush and a engine degreeser and it works but only gets about 90% of the dirt and grime off. The rest wont come off so open to ideas. Btw i dont want something that will ruin my nc30's parts tho. Like paint thiner or something like that which i dunno could have harmfull affects on the finish of the frame.

Thanks
Jason

WD40 + polishing pads work perfectly for me.

Alusol I think it's called , it's a metal cleaner / polish in a tube ( paste ) very time consuming and loads of elbow grease needed but it brought my frame , swinger and forks up as it cuts into the metal . I have also used autoglym restorer as it is abrasive and scours the grime out of the metal before polishing up with the above :-)

Autosol or any other abrasive metal polish will mirror polish metals, personally I wouldn't touch my frame/swinger with anything abrasive.

as long as you seal them with a good quality wax afterwards the finish will last for quite a while

ya i forsure dont want to ruin the orginal finish of the frame and swinger. I refuse to use anything that will cut into it like a metal brush or anything like that as i dont want my whole frame and swinger polished i just want all the dirt and crap removed from the orginal finish. I have tried wd-40 with tooth brush and it'll remove most of the dirt but just wont remove that really stuck on like 10% thats prolly been there since day one or first chain lube. But i will keep trying and maybe pick up some of the stuff u guys recommended. If all else fails i will wait for a day that its not so cold and go outside and clean it with kerosene cuz i've had nothing but good results in the past doing that on different things. But as i said bike is in my spare bedroom and hate to have to go outside in this cold and really want to get things back together inside and complete before the cold goes away and its ridding weather again.

As they say on TV, "For really stubborn stains, I use... Sonax Engine Cleaner". Worked pretty well on my swingarm, but it stinks in a nasty way. Best use it outside, if you can bear the cold! Otherwise, kerosene would be a top choice.
