does anyone know what size the thread is on alternator rotor, i need a rotor puller and was wondering if a local tool store may stock them?

Hi Ben, Rick O. have this alternator rotor puller on his list for just a fiver. Hope this helps.

NC30/35 Alternator rotor puller (bolt type M20x1.5) £5

It's not technically a puller either.

It's a bolt.

If you unscrew the 14mm bolt from the rotor you'll be able to screw a larger bolt into there (this is the M20 x 1.5 bolt that Rick O sells)

Tighten it up and it will force the rotor off the crankshaft

Which is genius IMO!

I like it too, saves on pullers which knackered the flywheel :)
