Hi guys, in a bit of a trouble atm. Missus managed to kill her her clutch on an uphill slow traffic ride on the rvf400.
Being relatively new to bikes, she didn't let it cool down and now the clutch is slipping etc etc and needs replacing.
Left it at a friend mechanic which has said taht the steel plates are black and the spring kit needs replacing.
Literally the whole job lot. Problem = Spring kit won't be in stock until Dec 24th. These are all oem ofc.
What options do we have as we pretty much were hoping to use the rvf this sunday?
I've heard about ebc kits but are they better than oem etc?
Can i just buy new friction/steel plates and put the old spring kit on?
Cheers

Re: RVF 400 Clutch broken - options?
I would just replace the clutch pack, I have raced RVF's for 10 years and have yet to replace a spring.
But i am tight
