also i read somewere that its not recommended to drill the slides ?
also im following cammos diy guide and im not sure if i should adjust the pilot to two and a quarter turns out or 1 and 5/8th i think
my rvf is standard except i have a tyga carbon twin can full exhaust system

Well..
Don't do it. The drilling etc is for NC30 carbs only.

For what its worth ive always found a extra 0.5mm washer and hrc slide springs work a treat on rvf carbs to sort out the midrange on engines with standard tune.

well thats wot i thought but i couldnt figure out how to take the needle off the slider to put an extra washer
just re fitted the carbs and pannels and i forgot to turn the screw under the carbs that emptys the petrol out so i have to take the carbs off the bike again
will take the carbs off 2moro but it would be nice if there was some info about removing the needle
on the nc30 carbs theres a screw but i dont think there was a screw on mine

IIRC you remove the needle the same way as you do 30 carbs, philips screw driver inside the slide then twist. Im sure theres pics in the haynes manual. I always go up a jet size too if using a can or system. DONT drill the slides. 30 & 35 carbs are different beasts and using the 30 guide to mod your 35 carbs is going to end in tears.
