Question about generator?

Hi there...can anyone tell me what should be the resistance between generator coils(yellow wires) on my '93 superfour?
second....is there a way to test it exept maesuring coil resistance?And,how about to test rectifier?I've got very weak spark on my bike...

Should be no resistance at all.

You can chekc output by setting to AC volts and measuring in the same place as the resistance.

Rev the bike to 5k approx - should be getting 50 AC Volts...

I'll try this...now if i measure the resistance i get 1.2 ohm between each yellow wire.

pretty sure it should be nothing as the wires should not be in contact...so, might be time to get the cover off and have a look at it!

as i think,all three wires sholud end up at one place.Am i right?offcoure i'll see the generator...i left with no other ideas
