is the link stiff ? does it look evenly spaces from the back ie link plates line up and the link moves just as good as all the others ?
if so then peen the ends over a tad more and ride.

just curious, what did you use to make it look like that ? i use a whale brand chain hammer to peen hardlinks over, it works too with softlinks like that.

best 85 quid i spent after the abba stand.

just punch the ends over slightly, dont use that tool anymore, a small hammer and chisel / punch should suffice.
so long as the links free. slacken the chain, put the link in the middle and check its free, if its not then swop it.

yer i have like a punch tool type thing not sure were i got it from tho.
but its is the link safe tho as its cracked? its the over lap part thats cracked
