well actually i think your right, but i couldnt find my 12 or 13 when i wanted to wip the plugs out and ended up using a perfect fit deep imperial socket think it was half inch 1/2" - so 12.5mm, i think the plugs are a wierd size TBH.

8mm plugs, 13mm OD.

I guess you don't have the original toolkit anymore.
