Can you post the gaps you had for each valve?

cool - it is useful to see what is going on across them all.

I have always set mine slightly looser than the median value - e.g inlets 0.12 to 0.20 - I set mine 0.17/18 rather than 0.16

Ive put the bike back together and it started and is running well but they whining noise is still bugging me so i took this video so u guys can hear and maybe tell me what it is.

Ive heard that these bikes make this kinda noise but id rather safe

You posted the link as a picture rather than a video, which is why it doesn't work.

That annoying whining noise is the engine. You'll never tell 100% from a video, but it sounds perfectly normal to me. If you don't like this sound, perhaps a V4 isn't for you...?

yeah the VFR has a very whiney droneing noise, has the previous owner removed the quitening gears?
