Pull the tank off, switch it to 'reserve', sit it on a milk crate with some sort of container under it. Then blow on the breather hose and wait. Works for me

just get a spare hose about a meter long, set it to reserve and drain into a suitable container or jerry can,

Blowing into the bottom breather of the fuel tap did the trick.
