Nothing off the button

Post by Hadies » Tue Jun 29, 2010 4:55 pm

Hi again,
I've spent far too much time in this section of the forum
I've recently changed the oil, fitted tyga system and upjetted the carbs on my NC30. Now I've put it all back together (I think) and I go to press the button and nothing. I've rechecked all the connections and I can't work it out! Please enlighten me 400greybikers.
What I have noticed is that my neutral light now doesnt work now.
Its doing my head in! Suggestions from everyone please!

Checked the fuse box under the seat and the one by the coolant reservoir and they're ok.
I also forgot to add that I have taken off the rearsets - just incase theres something around there I've knocked.

have you checked the main fuse?

Do you have a hydraulic brake switch? I popped my fuse by touching the frame with the contacts on my switch...

The main fuse is ok. I havent fitted my new rearsets yet as im waiting for a banjo pressure switch. I've only removed the standard rear sets and the wiring for the rear brake light

Oil light stays on, lights, indicators etc work. My neutral light wont come on though and it used to work.

Good news all. I pulled out the neutral light switch, gave it a clean, popped it back in. Full choke, no throttle and away I went.
Thanks for the advice everyone
