hi all had the nc30 for about a year now so i decided to try and get rid of the flat spot i have between 4k and 6k. so i got the carbs off and had a look at the main jets and they are 115/118 but i have a scorpian race can what i am going to do is put 118/120 in as i think it needs bigger ones i am also going to rase the needles do u think this will work or not any help will be a big help thanks.

Have a read of Cammo's post at the top of this section i think that will answer most of the questions you have. He suggests the jets you are planning on using so i dont think you are far off. I would only make one change at a time and going for a decent run to see how it feels. if you do to much in one go it will be hard to tell what is and isn't working.

i don't think main jets effect that low down the revs, whats the Air/Fuel screws set at ? try a 1/4 turn with them or raise/lower the needles

yer ive just finished reading that what a fantastic post. i have been running the bike every day for about 1 year its got a bad flat spot and the top of the revs just dont get there it struggles so i hope rejetting helps this
