Right going for the USD forks but need some advice NC30
Well I was thinking for quite a long time if I should put USD forks on my NC30.
I know I can use ducati forks,zxr400 forks,and nc35s.
From what I`ve seen the ducati looks and performs well and Riley does fiting kits.
But as I am a student with limited funds I would really preffer a bit of bling rather than performance.I found cheap-ish forks from
zxr400 L ,yokes, mudguard and also I think RO does fiting kits.
NC35 forks are quite rare or if there are any they are a bit too expensive.
If I go down the route for zxr forks can I use nc30 front wheel, discs and callipers?
And also what comes in the fiting kit for the zxr forks?
Has anybody fitted zxr forks and has some pictures,it would be really helpful.
All the best

no fork conversion is going to be cheap, some are cheaper than others is about the best you'll get.theoutsider wrote: If I go down the route for zxr forks can I use nc30 front wheel, discs and calipers?i think you can use the wheel but you need different spacers, discs i'm not sure and calipers i'd say defo not, i know funds are tight but if your going zxr forks you'll probably need zxr calipers and discs, i could be wrong but, best ask rick as i know he's had zxr stuf on his bike before. And also what comes in the fiting kit for the zxr forks?best contact rick as you know he does the kit and he'll tell you all you need to know.

RWU forks have never bothered me and once you get the internals sorted they are more than fit to suspend me but if it's the look youre after go for it

I am after the look mate mate, also I know I will spend quite a bit of money on the conversion, the cheapest option for the moment is the zxr forks but i don`t know if I can use my wheel discs and brakes,so I`m a bit confused at the moment

If you do that you'll need caliper adapters and spacers as the ZXR has bigger discs so they won't line up with your vfr wheel.
Nothings decent is going to be cheap.
Seems a bit of a waste of money if your just doing it for the look tbh.
Just spend the money overhauling your front forks (will be cheaper)
It's much nicer to ride a bike thats nimble than a 'blinged up one' that feels like healming a spanish galleon.
each to their own

Re: Right going for the USD forks but need some advice NC30
I know I sell the Ducati fitting kit but that aside I can not recommend the conversion enough, the Ducati conversion gives a genuine improvement in ride, performance and braking as well as the desired "bling" factor of incredibly high quality Usd loveliness. Others who have done the conversion have backed this up in the past. should you or anyone else like to go ahead with the conversion please just give me a shout as I don't want to ramble on in someone elses thread, all the best Paul.
Need any used Nc30 parts? Want to fit a Ducati front end to your Nc30? If so give me a shout.
