flat/fluffy spot

started the NC30 up today & after it's warmed up it seems to die out when revved between 3-5k. my son says this normally happens but he dosen't notice it when riding

Can the carbs be balanced at home? have they got the little spouts on each carb where the tubes fit? I've got a set of guages & tubes

Have you got some take-off adapters? the hoses fit onto the cylinder heads, you remove a blanking screw and screw in a take-off adapter and push the pipe on that.

You can see the take-off adapters there.
They do plastic or brass.. brass are harder to break but iv'e never had a problem with either.
Honda use 5mm iirc.. someone else should be able to confirm
