I received my shiny new ABBA stand today, heads into the garage to open & assemble but the T Bar threaded pin doesn't fit the nut that's welded on the short side.
Anyone had any problems like this?
Cheers

not sure what you mean, the T bar goes into the side of the stand. the threaded nut at the bottom on the square hollow piece, there is a plastic knob thats screws into that to stop the halves of the stand coming apart if that makes sense.
did you buy it new ?
if so how many hours to remove all the clingfilm ?

It's brand new from ABBA, definitely well packed, took an age to get off
The T bar is threaded, goes into the side of the stand but there is a welded nut on the side stand.
Pics help?

The 'T' bar screws into the welded nut so the threaded part is on the inside. Then you have a section of the fitting kit that slides onto that (the larger section of the fitting kit if I remember correctly)
So it should look something like this...
I hope that helps you.

Do you mean the thread of the T bar doesn't match the thread of the nut? Is the thread on the T bar ok? looks a bit crossed in your pic...

That's what I mean, the thread of the T bar doesn't match the thread of the nut, it's like the nut is M16 but bar M17 or something like that.
Thread is ok, that's just the grease on the thread

That is odd. Just give them a call, I'm sure they'll be alright about sending another T bar.
