Hi.
Im just in the process of gathering bits for an SP1 caliper set up on my NC30, ive got some SES brackets and just got SP1 calipers and a Master cylinder.
Can i use the original resevoir and bracket?
I obviously want braided lines, but do you stick with the 1 into 2 line, or can you fit seperate lines to each Caliper??
Any advice on where to get the braided lines from and choice of pads and discs for this set up??
Thanks
Kris

Yes you can use the original reservoir, all it does is hold brake fluid.
Junk the standard 1 int 2 line and get proper single (2) braided lines. If you order them for the calipers (RC51 or 03-04 600rr) then it should all go together nicely.

Any advice on pads and discs, toying with prolite or stealth discs.

As far as discs go, you can use any NC30 fitment discs you like as the caliper brackets move the calipers in line for the nc30 discs.
i like the standard discs but thats just me, there are loads of people on here with aftermarket discs on their bikes & i always here good thing about them, just dont skimp.
i also have the SP1 set up with a Fireblade m/c & Rick O brackets.
i used ebc hh pads (about £45-£50) & i used cobra s/steel hoses for SP1 calipers with 2 hoses, the 2 into 1 is crap!
its a great set up - you wont be dissapointed.

Re: sp1 caliper set up on an NC30
it will be a massive improvement over the standard worn set up but if set up correctly, with the right pads, fluid & braided lines, the standard brakes are brilliant!
it just costs money to keep them that way & its about the same to improve them with the newer stuff, eg the SP1 / CBR-RR set up.
