jetting for half system on rvf

Post by trude » Sun Feb 07, 2010 8:59 am

I know that there are hundreds of jetting posts, but please help me.

What is a good starting point for jetting for a half system with a can for an rvf400? I was thinking 110 mains, extra .5 mm washer under the needles, and pilot screw at ? perhaps 1 3/8 turns out?

Everything else is standard on the bike

112 main jets will do, no need to raise the needles.

Pilot screw setting usually needs to be found by trial and error. Leave it at the stock setting and go from there I reckon.
