Tank Knee Grips - any suggestions?

Post by marty400 » Wed Jan 27, 2010 10:45 am

Hiya all,

I have used these Rubber Knee Grips in the past on a CBR600f4i, and they are great for bracing self by knees when braking etc. Looks good as well.

However, there aren't any specificall shaped for the NC29.

Can you suggest if another model's shaped tank grips would fit the NC29 shaped petrol tank?

hope you can advise!
Cheers
Martin

PS:
What about the stompgrips? Any that fit the NC29 well?

Anyone tried the techspec gripster tank pads from http://www.speedycom.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ?
They aren't supposed to take there toll on your leathers but still grip as good as stompgrip. I do have stompgrip[ on my 600 and the stretchy material (fabric) has worn by quite an amount because of the stompgrips so i may get the speedycom ones to save my trousers.

hiya CBR400,

Yup, I had those techspecs on my cbr600f4i

I had to get them imported from the US.
Good to see there is now a UK distributor

They look the dogs on a black bike.

Be good to see if one of the Pre cut ones will fit the NC29 petrol tank. I don't fancy my cutting the shapes - it will look crap!

There isn't any specific ones for the 29 as of yet so it would have to be a universal sheet cut to fit i'm afraid marty400. I'm gonna give them a go anyway as the stompgrip on the 600 are quite abrasive on my leathers.

I used the universal stompgrip on my vfr (with a small bit of trimming), works a treat.

I have the speedycom ones to go on my R6. Will fit once I get bike out. I liked the fact they wont trash my leathers as much
